Zone alarm vs MS firewall

I currently run thr free version of zone alarm, and have
shut of Windows SP 2 version of MS firewall. Every thing
works fine. Can I run both at the same time? Is there an
advantage to running both of them.. Roy

Just run Zone Alarm. I've seen reports where the two running together can
cause a conflict, but I've also seen others that say it doesn't cause a
problem. So rather than taking a chance it's safer to use just the one as
you are currently doing. I use ZA Pro.

You should not run 2 firewalls at the same time on the same machine. Even
if they don't cause conflicts (which they will), you'll be keeping both up
to date with the same information anyway. Also, while Windows Firewall is
good basic protection, it is not nearly as advanced (in terms of
configuration) as others.
