Has anyone got the "system halted" message when trying to log on with Zone
Alarm? I've tried 3 times to get it to work. I'm running Windows XP SP2 .

What the Error message and do you have Anti-Virus application installed?.
To see what the error message or the causer for this error message do the
following:
Open a run command and type in:
eventvwr.msc click [OK]
On there look for any error messages(X) that can shed some lights on the
causer of your system halt and post it here in your next post.

Also you can start in Clean Boot mode to eliminate any application/program
causing this on the start Up.

I returned the firewall to the store where I bought it. The error log reads
DCOM and Service Control Manager all of which run fine now.
