Zone Alarm not starting at bootup

Hello

Recently noticed that Zone Alarm no longer automatically loaded when I
started Windows (2000 Pro SP4) although I set it up with that preference.

I have gone in and re-ticked the option "Load Zone Alarm at startup"
and rebooted. It had previously been ticked and loading OK.

Everything is normal again but I'm curious as to whether this is just
a glitch or symptomatic of a bigger problem lurking somewhere? **

Wondered if anyone had any thoughts.

Zone Alarm

all up-to-date and run regularly.

Well, if it keeps happening, then you may want to investigate as malware
can re-configure settings if it can get to the machine and executed by you.

OTOH, ZA could have just lost the setting. That happens sometimes too
with programs using runtime parameters that they use -- it's possible. :)

Malware can circumvent and defeat ever last bit of it if the conditions
are right and you clicked on something that caused the compromise.
all up-to-date and run regularly.

That's good.
