The antivirus software included with ZoneAlarm is from Computer Associates,
the folks that bring you eTrust antivirus. I have used CA's antivirus
products for quite some time and am overall pleased with their performance.

I agree, eTrust is a good choice. I spent a few weeks testing AV's
before settling on eTrust. Some are better, but introduce system lag
and are more expensive. (Panda Kaspersky). Refreshing to have an
AV like eTrust, after a few years of Nav/Symantec. Lean footprint,
Quick scans and does daily Definition updates.
AVG & Avast are free choices, but eTrust doesn't cost that much
to renew and you can still get a 1-Year free trial with Microsoft's
Partner Pack offer.

It is from e-Trust (Computer associates) which I use direct from them,
and regard as a very good AV
