ZIP files in URL don't work!

Not sure why, but if I click on a hyperlink that points to
a zip file, I get a "Page Cannot be Displayed" error...

If I go back and right click the link, and do a "save
target as..." it works fine...

What's going on? How can I fix this?

I am taking a long shot here, I think reinstalling/Reregistering urlmon.dll might fix the issue for yo
(start -> run -> regsvr32 urlmon.dll) . make sure all IE windows are closed and after reregistering the file reboot the computer once. Let me know if it works. In the meanwhile i'll look it up and see if I can find any other ways of fixing it

PS: If you are running XP and have access to the XP CD, you could also try this step start-> run-> inf and ok
next locate a file called ie.inf (make sure hidden and OS files are set to visible) right click on ie.inf and select install. It should re-register all the dll's required by IE. It should ask you to insert the XP cd...
