Zip Drive

Allan

I have an ATAPI Zip 100 drive installed on a system with
WinXPHome and it has problems booting. I have to leave
the disk out of the drive until booting has started, then
push the zip disk in and it will work fine... if I leave
the disk either in or out the computer will just continue
to restart over and over again. I thought I had a damaged
kernel32.dll file but I replaced it with no success. I am
having a similar problem with windows 2000 however it will
not boot at all with the zip drive installed. Just hangs
at the "loading personal preferences" screen. HELP!

Hello

Well you need to check your jumper settings because I am using
2 100 internal zip and 1 in win2000 and 1 in xp no problems at
all and they have been working great for me. I have the most current
driver from www.iomega.com
