Is your drive being recognized properly by XP? Check in Device Manager
(Right click My computer, Left click Properties, hardware, Device Manager)
to see of there is any yellow ! next to the zip drive information.

They should be able to be read by XP unless you don't have a hardware
problem or installation problem. Try the disk in another zip drive to check
out the hardware problem.

Although I can't help you I can assure you that ZIP disks formatted in
FAT16, FAT32 and NTFS are perfectly readable by XP. Didn't even need any
drivers for the old recyled internal ATAPI model I stuck in this new
comp. Is that the type of ZIP drive you have by the way?
