Yet another Outlook 2003 Hangs on Exit issue

I have read and read through the newgroups trying to resolve my issue. Outlook will not close when exited. The icon stays in the system tray and Outlook.exe is in the task manager. OS is XPP all updates applied. There are NO add-ins/com add-ins. No Anti-Virus. No Adobe Acrobat.

I have two profiles. One with an Exhange account and one with a POP account. POP works fine and closes properly when exiting.

I have uninstalled Office, re-installed Office, recreated profiles, blah blah blah. Another user loaded Office 2003 and it works fine Exchange. FYI, I am using the cached Exchange mode and an .OST for use offline. I have changed those settings as well and no change.

Please Help.

Regards,
Scott

Due to the Swen virus, all e-mails sent to this account will be deleted
w/out reading.

Problem is fixed. I just put a new image of XP on my machine and load Office 2003 fresh.

This is what I was trying to avoid but problem is resolved, although too many people have issues with this and I think it needs to be addressed.
