Yellow triangle in Add/Remove

I upgraded WinME to XP Pro, installed Plus for XP, and installed all the
updates a few months ago. I recently had reason to use Add/Remove in the
Control Panel and noticed 2 yellow triangles - one next to Plus and one next
to Hotfix Q282784. I've reinstalled both and rebooted, but the warning
triangles are still there.

Q282784 is just the program qfecheck.exe that runs from a command line to
verify the installation of hotfixes. That runs and says everything is OK.
Plus for XP also seems to run OK.

Any ideas on what might be happening here and if I should continue to search
Google (no hits so far)?

Thanks,
Anne

Anne,
Sometimes Add/Remove Programs applet assigns a wrong icon to the program listing. It's normal. See this thread for more information how to change or correctly associate the program's icon there:

Thanks Ramesh. I had Googled until my eyes bugged out before posting here.
However I was concentrating on the yellow triangle and not wrong icon. Your
solution worked perfectly.
