Yellow Shading in Start Menu?

Hope someone can help,

I'm setting up my new system and a few of the programs I
have installed show up "shaded yellow" in the start
menu. They work ok, any one know why they are shaded?

Sure. That's just to help you spot the new ones. They'll switch to the
regular color in a few days - or after you've run them once or twice.

They are considered "newly installed programs" to turn
this off right click on the
taskbar>>properties>>custimize>>and uncheck "Highlight
newly installed programs"
