start menu

I use Windows xp professional. Recently my start menu
behaves oddly. when clicked the menu delays to pop up and
shows three shades of brightness from dark to bright. Is
there any problem with this.

Hi Gerald,

Have you recently installed an update for your display drivers? If so, try
a roll back. If not, lower your hardware acceleration to see if that helps
(Display/Settings/Advanced/Troubleshoot/Hardware Acceleration).
