And you're asking why the screen is tinted yellow? It could be a number of
things. If it's one of the old cubic shaped (crt, not flat screen) monitors,
whack it on the side and see if it corrects momentarily. Regardless, it's
probably lost a key 'color gun' inside, and needs to be replaced.
