My monitor blank out after 5 min. I have to pull the power cord out and plug
it back in. But it stilll goesout. Is iot time for me to purchase a new
monitor?

Borrow another monitor as a test.. but if the power plug is to the
monitor (not the computer), it does seem to be the monitor.. COULD be
the video card, but that's doubtful.

You make no mention of type of monitor. Did you check to see if there is an
