yahoo sending sound byte

This is a question from my wife

when she is in a yahoo chat room and wants to play a song she must open
the mike and at the same time play the song
which dose pick up background noise is there away to configure computer
to play directly without using mike?

Using the correct cable , you want to pipe your OUTPUT of your sound to your
MIC....unless u do this, youll have to have the mic RIGHT next to the
speaker.....playing music in chatrooms..haha
