Yahoo Mail Sent Items

I am a new mail user on Yahoo and I am finding that some of my "sent"
items go into the "sent items" mailbox, but most do not. Any insight
into why they don't all show up there?

How is this an Outlook question?
 
For some reason, entering "Yahoo Mail" always take you to this group.
Can you help with the question?
