Yahoo Mail and fake Microsoft email

I get about 4M a day of fake MS emails because of the attachments. Of
course it goes into my Bulk folder and I delete it, but it threatens
to go over my disk limit. I just use the freeYahoo Mail and that's
it.

Couldn't Yahoo do something about this? I mean besides filtering it
to one folder. Aren't lots of people getting tons of this fake MS
mail? Couldn't the authorities crack down on who started it?

It doesn't seem to be letting up either!

the last time I checked Yahoo didn't count bulk mail against your
limit.

I think they also auto delete it after a while.

You might want to check your facts -

#1: Bulk mail DOES count - I have 900 messages in my bulk
mail folder right now and I'm getting a storage limit warning.
my trash is empty, my inbox has 2 messages and that's it.

#2 Yahoo does NOT auto empty any folders, including bulk
mail and trash.

I use YahooPops! from www.sourceforge.net to get my Yahoo
email with Outlook Express (it also works with Outlook, and
other email clients). The program is free and you don't
have to fork over $30 to Yahoo either. It will get your web
mail and deliver it as Pop mail, which your message rules
can handle.

YahooPops! will delete your inbox mail and bulk mail after
it is downloaded.

You can set up filters in Yahoo and Hotmail to route all
spam to bulk and to automatically send the bulk mail to the
trash.
