Yahoo advertising help

R

Richard Gagnon

Today Yahoo, my home page because I have liked it so far and have
Yahoo Email, has started moving the advertisements. I hate that cell
phone fluttering in my face. It is really in my face like never
before. I know we are going to have advertising but this new method is
very annoying. I have switched to Google for my home page, though
there is no news.
Netscape has a bunch of pop ups and I stopped using Netscape page
sometime ago.
Does anyone have a solution??? I normally use Netscape 7.1 and IE6.0
once in a while. I went back to 4.79 but I still have Email issues
without 7.1.
I have been considering a Linux browser but I know very little about
Linux. I presently use W98SE for a OS.
Please answer to the group as this Email address is no longer working.
I have it just to keep out spammers.

Thank you

Richard

Google News? Seems to be more up to date than Yahoo.

Try www.myway.com. They have no ads, and claim they never will.

_> Halt :)

"myway" installs "Myway speedbar" which is not Spyware, per se, but
malware all the same - Lavasoft's Ad-aware detects it as does the detection
script at this site: http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/
Get Ad-aware here: http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
