Chris

Hi when i install anything off cds or off the hdd that
spans more then 2 cds, windows xp gives me this error
message
"Windows-wrong Volume
The wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert disk 1
into drive f:"

I've been posting this error for 2 days now and i'm
gettin no help.

Any help would be great thanks

your not getting any help b/c no one has a good answer to
give.

did u try inserting disk 1 again? if that doesnt work
copy both CD's to the hard drive and load the setup off
the hard drive.

Go to device mgr, uninstall the cd drive,re-boot computer,
on desktop,control-panel,add new hardware,reinstall the
drive.

I also made them into cd images on my hdd and that error
still comes up?

from the said:
I have been installing CDs for many years and have never found a program
that spans two CDs. Can you give more details about your system and what
program you trying to install?

Hmm, a non-game player. The average PC game these days spans 3-4 CDs,
and 5 or more is not unheard of. 8>.

That's true. I have too much fun just keeping my PC up-to-date and working
:)
