Can someone send me a configured XYplorer.ini file? This is due to a
CoInitialize error that happened at an earlier time.

Please send it to (e-mail address removed). Thanks for any help.

Start XYplorer *without* any XYplorer.ini, then Exit: a fresh XYplorer.ini
is created.

That's the problem. It won't run without the XYplorer.ini file. Once it's
in place, it works just fine.

Then something else is wrong, XYplorer starts fine here without an
..ini file and creates a new one on opening.
Why not just reinstall XYplorer?

Because I'm having the same problem I had during another install. Google
"CoInitialize" in this group if you're really interested.

I'm just looking for *any* file.

This file is from/for version 4.40.0026. If this does not match the EXE's
version, then you could indeed get a problem with running the app.

@ Tim weaver:
Once again: running the app without XYplorer.ini should *always* work, which
you can see from the fact that XYplorer is delivered without INI-file! The
only other source of trouble might be a corrupted file-find-template located
in subfolder "FindTemplates". Empty, delete, or rename this folder to find
out.

Nope, I tried deleting the "FindTemplates" folder and running it without the
INI file. Same error. Put back the INI file, no problem.

Which version? What error message?

Thanks, Don
