XPsp2 Loacl Accounts

I have a small network set up at home. On one of my XP boxes I want my kids
to be able to add programs ,make changes etc.. I have added there local user
account to the local admin account, but they still can not make changes. When
I log in as the Admin all is well. But when they log in with there account
they cannot make changes.

Are you logging into a server on your network? Try going to Computer
Management in the Administrative Tools. Click on Users and Groups. See if
your new accounts are there and have Administrator rights. If they are not
there right-click and add them.

I am using a win 200 Domain controller. I when't into users and computers in
active directory. In the Administrator properties I added the kids users
accounts. this did not help.

Try adding them to the local administrators group (on each client machine) .
