recently had to replace motherboard. now missing a bunch of hotfixes &
updates as well as sp2. tried to download but get message that it is already
downloaded to my comp. then when i try to install it goes about half way &
then sit there for days..any help is greatly appreciated. Jeff

Hi,
Rename the C:\WINDOWS\system32\catroot folders & try windows update again.
