xph starts with a folder open

When I start xp home it always starts with the same file open that has
nothing to do with any of the programs I want to have at start up. Is there
any way to get this not to happen? What I do now is just close the folder
by x ing it out after statrup.

Check in your Start, All Programs, Startup folder. Likely a shortcut to the
folder got dragged there by mistake. Delete it and you're good to go.
