I work in a hospital environment and most of our systems are on Citrix. We
currently run Windows XP Pro on all our desktops, but I was considering
moving the desktops that only use the Citrix apps to XPe for easier support
and manageability. I wondered if XPe was a good choice or if I should go
with Windows CE? Also, we do alot things wirelessly, is XPe a good choice
for that as well?

Tim,

So essentially you are looking for a thin client implementation using Citrix?
Citrix client exists for Windows CE as well as for Windows XP/XPe. There are some benefits of both but WinCE solution would be in
general cheaper from licensing point of view if your hardware is generic enough to be supported by CE BSP (CEPC). For XPE though it
is much easier to find driver off-the-shelf.

I should also mention, there are many ThinClient systems on the market that
already have XPe and Citrix client installed.

Thanks for all the help on this....I am moving forward with testing XPe.

I would also advise you to check the matrix on Cirtix.com . You need
to be aware of the functionality that you are after. For instance a
twain device is not supported with WinCE and Cirtrix client.
