XPe build: Who initialize the registry ?

F

Fab

The following setting to show the icons on the desktop works fine:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanc
ed]
"HideIcons"=dword:00000000

I tried to store it in the TD "Extra registry" (just below the root of), but
without success. I'm assuming that a component is initializing the entry to
another default (1 is in case).

How can I discovery what is this component ? Is there a way yo understand if
more components try to initialize the same registry entry ?

Hi Bing,
I tried, but it seems that all that component settings do not work. That's
the reason why I would like to specify the registry setting.

Dear Fab,

You just need to enable "Show Desktop icons" in "User Interface Core"
component.
