xp2400 vs xp2500

Hi all;
I have an asus A7N8X-E Deluxe MB with XP 2400(2.0@266 fsb) and
512 DDR 266.What I would like to know is upgrading to Xp 2500(1.8@333
fsb)and using 512 ddr 333 be faster? I don't over clock.

I wouldn't expect the difference in speed to be any close to
spectacular;-)
If you want a real change, you may switch the mainboard, too, and
invest in an Athlon 64 3000+ with 512 MB DDR400.

(I have an XP_2400 with 2x256MB Crucial DDR266 on a MSI K7N2-L and an
Athlon_64 3000+ with 2x256MB Infineon DDR400 on an AsRock K8S8X - also
for becoming familiar with WinXP_64-bit - and I am happy with the
speed of the AMD64. No O'C)
