I setup a workgroup network. Under "My Network Places"
the first pc is "local network" the second pc is
under "The Internet" and the remainder of them are
under "unspecified". How do I get them all under "Local
Network". (I can map network drives and do all
functions).

Firstly a tip. Why not post a question with the subject line "Networking
problem" or similar rather than just "xp"? This being an XP group, we all
rather assume that your question is something to do with XP.

Have you run the network Setup wizard? Have all the machines been configured
to have the SAME Workgroup name?

I believe you also have to avoid computer names contain spaces so for
example avoid...
"My Computer"
"Freds Workstation"
or "Pocket PC" for example.

Probably best to avoid spaces in the workgroup name as well.
