xp won't recognize second hard drive

I upgraded my processor and mother board. I had two hard
drives in my old system. I reformatted the c: drive loaded
winxp no problems, however when I installed the second
hard drive from my old computer to the new one xp won't
see the drive. The bios see's it win device manager see's
it. When I go to disk managment there is no drive letter
assigned. I don't want to repartition or format the drive,
I backed up files from the c: drive to it.
Any help would be great.

Right click on My Computer, select Manage. On the following screen, select
Disk Management. Drive should show up on the right hand side of the page,
you now need to partition it, format it and assign it a drive letter.

You know what guys? I found out how to solve this little problem. Just
install Norton Goback again, restart teh computer, and Wala. You get
your drive back.
