XP won't log on Power fail during restore

I was doing a restore and the power went off. Now when I try to turn on I
get the message that the <windowsroot> system32\ntoskrnl.exe file does not
exist and I starts over. I have tried to boot from my XP disk with no luck
it says it is missing a txt file. Any suggestions?

you will have to do a repair install. change the bios
setting to boot to cd first then watch the screen for the
message "to boot from cd press any key"

When I try to boot from CD say it is missing a txt file and does not load.

ok i got it to boot to the cd and then went to repair screen how do i get it
to repair the file <windows
root>system32\ntoskrnl.exe ???
