XP won't load

Hi all

Having a real problem. I had XP pro on my pc, it
developed a problem so in the end I formated the hard
drive to start again.

My problem is that when I try to boot from the CD it
hangs on the blue screen that says Windows Setup.

I have managed to load Win 2000 via the CD boot, but when
I try to upgrade to XP pro I enter the info as reqested
and then it re-boots as normal, but then when to PC
restarts it hangs when the white bar appears at the
bottom of the screen.

Any ideas

Hi Dave,

same problem by me.

I deactivat many bios options like fast cach PCI devices
and so on.. Deactivate all hardware you can und try it
one more time. LEt me know if it works.
