xp won't boot

I have tried to do a clean install of xp because it would nt reboot.

It stll won't boot up.

I have reformatted and installed windows 98 and that works and reboots

I then tried to install xp and it won't reboot.

I once had a Dell that had to be debuged they help me do it

How do you debug a drive?

Any sugestions would be helpful

Well, if you want to load xp on it, first load 98, then run the upgrade
advisor on it. It will tell you what if anything needs to be done in
order for the computer to be xompatible with windows xp. Good luck.
