XP Won't allow me to not login

I upgraded from 98 SE and Windows XP will not let me not
login. I had PC Anywhere but I removed it manually. I
have a dll file that may be the problem, msgina.dll,
thast replaced awgina.dll that was the problem.
Any suggestions?

What do you mean by "will _not_ let me _not_ login"?
