The camera Wizard used to emerge when I plugged my camera into the
usb.

I downloaded a software programme for photo editing which diverted the
download from the camera to a Drive F.

I have uninstalled the software because I wish to revert to the system
originally in place.

It has not reappeared. I still go to this Drive F.

Please someone, how do I get the Wizard to start working again. Where
do I find it ? What do I have to do so that it comes up when I plug
my camera into the usb. I am on month two of trying to find a
solution to this.

Hi, Sheena.

I'm not sure how to resolve the whole problem - like get your wizard back -
so I suggest you go to Start/Help and Support and type remove drive. This
will give detailed instructions on how to get rid of 'F'.

Meanwhile a work-around might help. When you insert your camera, go to
Windows Explorer and right click drive 'F'. Select Properties/Autoplay and
work from there.

Hope this helps,

That's a different approach to any I have tried. I certainly do not
need this imaginary Drive F - it only came when I installed the
software. It is so irritating and counter productive to the filing
system I had already set up for photos that although I liked the other
aspects of Uleads programme, I decided to jetison the US$49 I spent on
it in order to return to normal. However, it didn't revert, still no
Wizard - so it is frustrating!

Thanks for this help, I'll post if it works.

I had a similar problem. I "told" the Wizard not to offer any options
at one time. Then I got a new software package that I liked and wanted
the Wizard to reappear. Through Windows Explorer, I went to the
properties section and selected the auto-open option; but it made not
difference. It still won't initiate.

Typical MS product behavior.

If anyone does actually work out a solution, please let us know.
