I have an XP virtual client with SP2, which is created long before by other,
when I
restore from the image, and update to the microsoft, and find that it's an
evaluated version, and has expired already, a message will pop up as
following, then after every 1 hour, it will restart again:

---------------------------. Windows - notification for the
windows-evaluation ---------------------------. The period for the
evaluation of this installation of windows expired. The system is driven
down in an hour. You update licensed the installation under use of one
version in order to restore the access on this windows-installation.
---------------------------. OK ---------------------------.

I tried to install XPSP2 and update it, but it does not work. Who is kind
to tell me how can I resolve this problem?

You will have to buy and install an actual non-tiral version. No worka
rounds.
