My Windows XP broadcom1394 device was not working, and the help section
told me to uninstall the device and re-install it. After uninstalling,
and following the steps, I could not find the device with the add
hardware wizard. What should I do? My wireless won't work now.

usually when that happens it is an indication that the wireless card is bad.

Are you confusing the two different components? 1394 is usually a
Firewire / iLink device for hooking up video devices such as digial
camcorders.

Is the wireless device built into the motherboard or is it a separate
add-on device?
