XP Windows Explorer Default View

Is there a way to setup Windows Explorer in XP to show
the "Details View" for all files and folders?

Hi

In Windows Explorer - View>Details - then go to Tools>Folder Options>View and click on 'Apply to All Folders' - re-start Windows Explorer.

Hi,

This edit allows Windows to save more views, longer and also includes them
to be saved once done.

Windows remembers 400 folder settings. When that number is reached some
settings aren't retained any longer. You can change this to 8000 by adding
this edit to the registry.

Run this edit, then reset your preferred folder options:

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

Windows Explorer/View/[Select Accordingly]. Then Tools/Folder
Options/View/Apply to All Folders.
