How to specify a certain view as default?

How can I specify a certain folder view type (Explorer => View =>
Thumbnails/Tiles/Icons/List/Details) as default when opening new
windows?

Hello,

Open a folder and customize as you want (eg - change to list view).

Then go to Tools > Folder Options > View > Apply to All folders
