This is my first time trying to set up a VPN connection between a Windows XP client and a Windows 2000 VPN Server. We have a Netopia Caymen 3546 router. When trying to connect to the server, I'm receiving error 678. I want to make sure that my configuration is set up correctly on my router. I currently have it configured to forward port 1723. But, I'm unsure how to set it up for GRE Protocol 47? Can anyone help me out?
Should my VPN connection on my client be pointing to the router IP address?
