Hi all. Before I wrote this post I did try and solve the problem myself on
the Internet, but I read such a wide assortment of fixes I figured I would
go the Newsgroup route before I tried to fix my problem.
My problem is what many of you have experienced already. I have a small 3
computer network in my office. All 3 were running XP. One of them died and
I got a new computer running Vista (this OS is what NOBODY needed.) I
seemed to have networked the new computer. My other XP's see the computer
and sees the shared C drive, but when I try and open up Vista's C drive from
one of the XP's I get (you all know what I'm going to say):
"\Dre-pc\c is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource.. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if
you have access permissions. Access is denied."
A giant No-prize to any of you who can tell me what to do to allow me access
to my Vista's C drive.
Make mine Marvel.
Thanx
