XP version of the deltree /y c:*.* command

exactly as it says my friend sent me a stupid virus and i
need that to get rid of it... i think

The deltree command may come with the Windows XP Professional Resource Kit.

Hi,

If you are looking to remove the contents of C:\, just boot the WinXP CD and
start the installater. Use the setup options to delete the partition, then
create a new one, format it and proceed to install. This will remove the
contents of C:\ and allow you to start with a fresh install.

Personally, I'd just try and remove the virus, a lot less painful than
starting with a clean installation.

The way to remove a virus is with an anti-virus tool. Depending
on the virus, what you want to do may or may not work.
