XP user account connection issues

[HELP]

I have a 2 users set up on my home system, 1 for my wife
and 1 for me. Currently, my user account cannot connect
to the internet or check email, but my wifes can. I have
run all anti-virus and 2 different spyware program (ad-
aware and spybot s&d) and they have taken everythign they
can off, but I still cannot connect. I have turned
Internet Connection Firewall off as well. This must be a
software issue, because if my wife account is working
then the cables, router, and cable modem are working
fine. Any thoughts?

The first question I always ask is if you can ping the web sites. if not,
check the DNS settings first, or post ipconfig /all here.
