xp - use 2 usb game pads for 2 players on pc ?

Might be a silly question , but , can I use 2 usb game pads for games
that allow 2 players on pc ?.. assume when you plug second pad in , pc
will recognise it , like a usb sound card ... ? tnx G .

Ok tnx for , junior has a colin mcray rally game , that can have 2
players .. so look like i can just get 2 off ebay - USB 10 Key PC Dual
Shock Gamepad Game Controller Pad- and problem solved ..tnx - G ..
