XP upgrades?

I just bought my computer about a month ago and didn't
even think (at the time) about making sure Powerpoint,
Excel, etc were on it. It has XP Home Edition. I know I
need the professional edition, but do I have to purchase
the whole thing or will an upgrade work? Any help is
appreciated.

If you are thinking, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. are included with XP Pro, that
is not the case. These applications are a part of MS-Office and have never
been a part of any Windows operating system. Hence, if you are trying to
acquire those applications, you can acquire what you need individually since
each is available for sale seperately or you can purchase the entire Office
Suite but they are not included with XP Pro.
