XP Upgrade on more than one pc?

Hello,

I purchased a copy of XP upgrade, can I install it on another pc if I want
to
uninstall it from that machine and install on another? I plan to get rid of
the first
pc. Do I need to contact Microsoft and if so, how?

If it's a retail version of xp, then yes you can uninstall it from the old
computer and install it on the new computer. At the very worst you will have
to call ms to get activated, setup will tell you if you need to.

Just activate it as usual. If it's been over 120 days it wil
activate over the internet just as before. If it's fewer than 120
days, you'll be given an 800 number to which you make a voice
call. Just explain that you've taken it off the old machine and
put it on a new one, and they will give you a number to enter.
It's quick and easy.
