I want to upgrade my current version of XP to XP
professional. However, I would like to format my C drive
completely to start from a clean slate. I went through
the installation process, as I was told that it would
automatically delete all folders and files. Under
programs in my start menu it appear as if all as deleted.
In explore. all my old folders, including my old profile
still remain. Because I cannot create recovery disks with
XP how can I install XP pro and at the same time wiping
out my current C drive?

Boot from CD.
