XP Updates

I have an EMachine that I did a restore to original state.
I am using Home addition of XP
I have a cd of sp2.
Is there availabe a quicker way to get all the updates without taking 32
hours of online time

If you have only dialup, your choices involve finding a faster connection.
Take the system there, or determine the identities of the downloads, then
download them from the Windows Catalog to disk at another system with
highspeed.

From a system with broadband internet, you may download most of the post-SP2 updates locally.
