XP to Win2k connection

I have a home network with 2 XP Home systems. I now have my work PC on the
home network but it runs Win 2K Professional. The Win2K system can access
the Internet via my router but it cannot see the shared folders on either of
the XP systems, nor does it show them in the in the Workgroup for the home
network. The XP systems list the Win2K system under the Workgroup but when
I click it to list the file I get a message saying it is inaccessible or I
don't have permission. It does not ask me for an ID/Password to log on to
it. I can ping the XP systems from the Win2K system but cannot ping the
Win2K from the XP systems. Does XP Home not talk to Win 2K Professional
systems.

The easiest way to deal with this is to make identical user
accounts/passwords on the Win2k box that match those on the WinXP
boxen. Win2k talks just fine to XP Home.
