XP Thumbnails of Win2k pic's

I just upgraded to XP w/ a fresh install. All my pic's I
had in 2k do not show up in thumbnail view. Maybe 1 out of
50 do. Now I can open one that doesnt modify it and resave
and now it shows but why are they not showing now? I just
put a folder of mine on another XP machine and still just
the sailboat/sunset icon appears :(

Am I going to just have to put 2k back on for these files
to read correctly?

Looks like these are all pic's from my SIPIX SP-1300. XP
must not be handeling the exif info right or sumtn.
Thoughts anyone? I want my thumbnails :(
