XP Themes.

Hello all,

I was wondering if there was a way to change the colors of
the XP themes. Yes, I know I can use 'Windows Classic',
but I'm refering to the 'Olive Green', and the 'Silver'
themes. Is there a way to modify the colors, or even make
more themes for yourself?

User,

I've already tired what you told me, but it didn't work.
Here's what I'm actually trying to do:

Example: You select the 'Silver' theme. I want to change
one end of the 'Active title bar' to a different color. -
If I understand correctly, do I have to log out, and log
back in for the changes to take affect?

start
control panel
display
appearance
advanced
find [active title bar] in scroll box
pick color 1: box and color 2: box
change colors....
also change the [active window border]
also change the [inactive title bar]
also change teh [inactive window border]
----------------------------------------
after changing colors return to main display window.
pick theme tab
in theme: [box] it should have (modified)
pick [save as] button
name theme file (ex. mydesktop.theme)
save this file because it reads this on login

All you have to do is click APPLY. The screen will go to
black and white a moment and the then changes should be
in effect.

There's no simple way of doing it without third party software.
StyleBuilder and StyleXP from TGT soft seem to be most popular.
