Windows XP themes

i am currently using the zune theme on my Windows XP computer. i also have
the engery blue, olive green, silver, and the default blue, which you all
know those three themes come with the operating system, while the other two
do not, unless you download them or you have MCE edition or tablet PC
edition of Windows XP. now what i was wondering if there were any additional
themes that you could download. does anyone know of any?

i do not mean the christmas theme or whatnot (it is a sub-theme of the
silver theme), i mean a theme that adds a whole new color theme and whatnot
like each of these main themes do.

i already have microsoft plus, that just adds sub themes to the olive green
and silver themes and whatnot... i have XP tablet PC edition on my notebook
and that version of XP does not comes with the olive geen theme for some odd
reason, but installing microsoft plus will add it.

what i want is additional themes like the zune theme. i want themes in other
colors, maybe red, purple, or any other color if possible.

Google is your friend, do a search for XP themes.
but be very careful, lots of them are jampacked with spyware/malware

Does anyone know where I can find this Zune Theme. I had it originally, but I
recently formatted my computer, and the Zune site has changed its layout.
Could someone please provide the link to the site where the download is now
located.
Thank you

I had the basic themes for XP that everyone else does (classic, olive,
etc...) but something happened to my computer and now, it's on classic
windows theme (not the XP) and I can't get it to change. None of the other
themes are there anymore. Is there any way for me to get them back? A site to
download them? Anything, but this classic theme is just horrible. I feel like
I'm back in 1998

To change the visual effects, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, click Run,
and then type sysdm.cpl in the Open box.
2. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Performance, click Settings.
3. Click the Visual Effects tab, and then use one of the following
methods: . Click Adjust for best performance to have Windows automatically
adjust the settings for best performance.
. Click Adjust for best appearance to have Windows automatically
adjust the settings for best appearance.
. Click Custom, and then select the check boxes for those items
that you want to turn on. Clear the check boxes for the items that you want
to turn off.

Make sure that the themes service is running from the services control panel.
(This is located under "Administrative tools"). Alternatively you can run
"services.msc" from the start | run dialog box.

I have the normal xp themes and are all working but the only thing is that i
don't really like them because they are boring so i got new and better

when i open it ... the properties bar pops up and the same xp theme appears
not the one i had opened....please help!!
is there some kind of registry i need to change?
is there some kind of reset i could do besides reinstalling windows?

You cannot set it to use another"theme"
To use anoter it HAS to be the exact same file type.
