Ensure that you have good DNS name resolution in your environment.
All Windows XP clients should point to an internal DNS server that is
authoritative for the domain.
If that is OK, then you might want to enable UserEnv logging
and take a network trace to see where the delay is:

|I have built a small network with Win2K server, and about 5 pc's running XP pro. When the machines login, it
takes a LONG time (3 to 4 min) to login to the server. Once logged in, everything works fine and the network
speed is fine. Any ideas? Maybe a MS article on the setup procudures for configuring XP to connect to a
Win2K domain?
